 Maternal Wellness Group will continue the work of the Maternal Wellness Center. The Center's original co-founder, Kathleen Furin, will continue to teach childbirth education classes. Dr. Stephanie Heck will be providing psychotherapy services for women and families in the transition to parenthood, and Beth Ann Corr continues to provide acupuncture services with a focus on pre-natal and post-partum services.

Family Wellness Guide
NEW UPDATED VERSION ONLINE

This resource guide was developed to highlight the wealth of resources available in and near Mt. Airy, Germantown, and Chestnut Hill for parents-to-be and parents with young children. Among the many resources of Northwest Philadelphia neighborhoods, support and education for expectant parents and growing families abound, yet are too often found only through word-of-mouth referrals and random access to flyers and business cards at local agencies, coffee houses, and shops. The goal of the Family Wellness Guide is to bring this information together into one central and accessible place for parents living in the targeted neighborhoods. As compared to the regional parenting resource publications and websites, we felt a need to create a more neighborhood-based guide that is as inclusive as possible and does not require a fee from providers to be included. Therefore, we are able to include a broader spectrum of your neighbors who are providing valuable services for families.
