Join Sarah Lopata, manager of Nicole’s Place at Laurel House, for a discussion about domestic violence, how it impacts women’s reproductive health, how to recognize warning signs, and how you can get help for yourself or a loved one. No one deserves to be abused.
One in 3 women and 1 in 4 men experience some form of physical violence by a partner in their lifetime. Physical, emotional, psychological, and sexual abuse has a tremendous impact on women’s reproductive health, especially during the perinatal and postpartum periods, when women are particularly vulnerable.
Nicole's Place, a Laurel House satellite office, provides immediate and on-going support to individuals and families in Eastern Montgomery County who have been impacted by domestic violence.
