MWC subscribes to a holistic wellness model that views birth and becoming a parent as natural, transformative events, while recognizing how difficult, amazing, and all encompassing the transition can be. Through personal and professional experience, MWC believes that when women and their families are supported and informed the outcomes are more positive.
In March 2006 The Maternal Wellness Center converted to a 501(c)(3) public charitable organization. All of the money from our services, retail sales, donations and grants are put into programs to provide families who are in need of financial support access high-quality pregnancy and birth related resources.
At The Maternal Wellness Center we strive to offer a unique and dynamic experience for families. We have put into place a system of true diversity, engaging communities by integrating clientele; our continual goal is to always provide the same, excellent services to women and families in all income brackets. Diversity, both cultural and economical, is extremely central to our morals as a business and by offering services which attract clientele across a range of incomes we are truly creating a community space in which economic diversity can be valued.
